What The Heck Are My Grandparents Doing To Me?

I love my grandparents, but every once in a while you have to wonder...Here I am with Great Grandma Scheib in the family "polyg dress". Every grandchild has worn this dress and taken a photo in it (male or female) and I was no exception. When Grandma Betsy Crosson was pregnant with Daddy, her father purchased the green dress from a polygamist, thinking Daddy was going to be a girl. What concerns me most about this photo is the way GG Scheib is so lovingly looking at me and gently adoring the dress. Only time will tell if this family tradition sends me to therapy. If so, I may be the last generation to wear the polyg dress!
It didn't matter that Daddy was a boy. They also dressed him up for a laugh. You can tell by our similar expressions we were thinking the same thing, “Somebody HELP! Please!”
And on Mommy’s side of the family…here’s me with Grandpa DeVore. He loves to try to capture my attention and was using the trial-and-error method. This obviously captures an error. Thankfully, through weeks of overstimulation, we’ve found that I enjoy the song, "The Ballad of Davy Crockett". Stick to the King of the Wild Frontier, Grandpa!
