Spoon Convention Fun

My 92-year old GG (Great Grandma) Scheib came to San Diego for the big Spoon Convention, however she said the highlight of her trip was spending time with me. She fed me a bottle, relaxed with me and Grandma Crosson by the pool, and even taught me a thing or two about collecting spoons...check the back to see if it says "sterling"!

Half Birthday Celebration

My half birthday was yesterday. Mommy made me a cake and we celebrated by taking photos next to it. Cousin Aviva joined the party and was also very interested in my cake. I pulled a fast one and took a swipe at it, but Mommy said I have to wait another 6 months before I can eat cake...it seems the celebration was more for her than for me!

Feed Me!

The following is an account of my first experience(s) with food.

Image 1: Seriously?...after months of waiting...rice cereal is what you give me?

Image 2: And it tastes about as good as it looks!

Image 3: Applesauce tastes better! Spoon-licking good!

Image 4: This is different - a peach slice through a mesh bag? Don't look at me while I'm eating!

Mr. Moo

Meet my best friend Mr. Moo. He accompanies me while I'm napping...

I enjoy wrestling with him...
he's always by my side on my play mat...
even cousin Phoebe loves to play with him!

Nags Head, NC

The Crosson family needed a vacation, so we headed to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to visit some of Daddy's college roommates over the 4th of July weekend. Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Walters each had baby boys that are my age (3 months) and we were all excited to meet Ty and Nate. I did very well on my first flight and was chosen "Best Baby Aboard" by the Delta flight attendants. Below are the Mommies with their baby boys upon our arrival to our beach house (this photo was taken at 1am!)

Here I am at the beach for the first time. Daddy put my toes in the water and I loved it!

And here are my new friends, Tyler Cunningham (left) and Nathan Walters (right), wearing our 4th of July bibs. We had a great time meeting and look forward to more family gatherings!

Sleep Training 101

BEFORE

Here I am during the "golden weeks", when I was ruler of my domain and a master manipulator.
My parents were on to me... AFTER

4 days later. I've been sleeping at least 6 hours through the night; Mommy is still working on refining my nap schedule. Normally they place me behind bars, but this was viewed as a success because I fell asleep on my own, breaking associations with rocking and nursing. Now that they know I'm a quick study the expectations are high!

Proud American

OOO-RAH!
Daddy, Mommy and I couldn't be more proud of our cousin, Kevin, who joined the US Marine Force and graduated last week. Kevy began boot camp the day I was born! Here we are 12 weeks later celebrating his success. Don't we both look more disciplined and stronger? I'm wearing my USA red, white and blue outfit Grandma Crosson bought me - just in time for the 4th of July!
